The first appearance of the Wooly Bully! Except that you won’t actually see his face until Saturday, when he takes off his entrance helmet/shoulderpad thingy. Which is based on that crazy black thing that Big Van Vader used to wear to the ring in the early/mid-90s. Which was awesome, until he took it off and he had that stupid strappy mask that served none of the functions of a mask (eg. concealing the wearer’s face and looking cool, which Vader’s failed miserably at).
The ring announcer is also pretty blatantly based on Howard Finkel, who was the WWF’s ring announcer for years.
Saturday: Unnamed masked wrestler starts off the match against the Wooly Bully.
