This might be Vader’s greatest match ever, and was another of the series of fantastic bouts that I’ve been watching on my History of the Triple Crown DVD set. I didn’t expect much going into it, because the previous match, in which Vader beat Akira Taue for the vacant Triple Crown, was pretty mediocre. I figured Vader would perform better against Misawa in front of the Tokyo Dome crowd, but not this much better. It’s like two different guys wrestled those matches in the same gear and using the same move set.
