Holy shit, you guys! HEAT: The Space Age of Pro Wrestling Volume 1 is at DriveThru Comics for only five bucks! *

*Depending on currency fluctuations, actual price may vary. It’s $5 Canadian for 120 pages, including an exclusive 14 page story by Daniel Schneider and 100 pages of commentary by Dick the Bastard and Mad Doc Crockett. This comic is fan-supported, so if you’ve got a few bucks in your pocket, I’d really appreciate it if you’d head over there and take a look.

On to today’s comic, which I actually don’t have a whole lot to say about, other than it was pretty fun to draw a fat guy getting clothesline over the top rope. And squid ref. Squid ref is always enjoyable to draw. I actually have to look through previous Super Max matches to keep from using him over and over again, since I established three different referees for the event early on (squid ref, a black guy, and a white guy). I actually had to re-read an old match (Invincinator vs. Dr. Fat from round 1) because I completely forgot what the white guy looked like, since that was the last time I drew him.

On Saturday: El Gangster II and Invincinator attempt to extricate their respective partners from the crater in the arena floor that they’re currently inhabiting.
