Apparently I’m a King’s Road style comic artist, because I like making callbacks to previous matches in the comic. In this case, it’s the very first match in the comic when Dick the Bastard earned his nickname by tricking his own teammates and beating the Wooly Bully with a rope-assisted roll-up. So I believe that makes me of the Giant Baba of fictitious wrestling booking.
In related news, I no longer bother attempting to find photo references for schoolboy roll-ups, because there’s no way to put that into Google and come up with anything even vaguely helpful. I’m pretty sure it results in being placed on some kind of government watch list, though.
