This is a match that I’m sure a lot of you have heard a lot about already, but I just got around to watching it today. If you haven’t, here you go! You should definitely give it a watch, because NXT is pretty much where guys go to have great matches that nobody will see. It’s televised here in Canada, but the time slot is terrible, so I end up having to go out of my way if I want to see some of the standout matches.
The major takeaways from this match are that Cesaro’s regular appearances on NXT are pretty much his best appearances on WWE programming, except that nobody gets to see them, and William Regal is pretty much entirely wasted in his role as a commentator. That guy could be educating so much of the roster on how to get to the next level, and really getting guys over, but nope.
