In Mexico, the Tombstone Piledriver is called a Martinete, and is a total death move. There was a mask match last year, Canis Lupus vs Trauma I, where Trauma wore a neck brace for a notable portion of the match because he took one Tombstone. Guys get carted out from them. The move is hugely protected as a killer.
What I’m saying is that Shawn Michaels and Triple H would both be unbeatable in Mexico, because they can kick out of two or three Tombstones in a row.
If you’re in Calgary this weekend, I’ll be at the Calgary Comic & Entertainment Expo. Hit up the Renegade Arts Entertainment booth, 1222-1322 in the BMO Centre. I’ll be there signing and selling books, slinging prints, and probably doing some commissions. I’m thinking about bringing some original art to sell, but we’ll see.
Next Week: Back to the TV studio to break down the Trios Title changing hands. Read it early on Patreon!
The martinete is also an automatic disqualification in Mexico.
I know, I’m going somewhere with that!
Aw goddamn it, Dusty Finish?
