Oh, Sharkenstein. Can you tell I thought of the name first? I don’t remember why, but at some point the name “Sharkenstein” popped into my head and I knew I had to use it in something. I didn’t really know what to do with it until I came up with the tagline “half man, half shark… suit”. Then I knew that I needed to design a wrestler wearing a shark suit who believed he was a shark, because he was an idiot.

The Big Splash in the third panel was the hardest thing on this page to draw, despite the piledriver and torture rack being more complex. I’m really pleased with how the torture rack (or Shark Attack, as our shark-suit clad friend calls it) turned out, especially the guy on the receiving end of it.

Earlier tonight I finished HEAT page 50, which is the end of chapter 4. Chapter 5 features a tag team contest pitting Dick the Bastard & Ron “The Con” Gould against Los Gordinflones Negros. It’s a little long, but would have been even longer if I hadn’t re-written it.

Also, In the process of typing this news post, I accidentally activated some hot keys that zoomed the page way in and then replaced quotation marks with a capital E that had a French accent over it. That took a good ten minutes to figure out how to fix.

Goddamn I hate computers sometimes.

On Wednesday: Tag Team Strategery.
