Before we get into the commentary, you may notice a shiny new DriveThru Comics button right next to the comic. If you click on that button, you’ll find that HEAT: The Space Age of Pro Wrestling Volume 1 is now available digitally for a measly FIVE DOLLARS. That’s right, if you’ve got five bucks in your pocket, you can have HEAT Volume 1, including an exclusive 14 page short story by future comics superstar Daniel Schneider. Pick it up, leave a review, and enjoy!

The hardest moves to draw are moves that include any sort of spinning, like, say, spinebusters. I think this one turned out fairly well, though, and at least a spinebuster isn’t as crazy as something like a phoenix splash, which I’m sure I’ll be dumb enough to attempt to draw at some point. My friend Jay probably just flipped his shit, though, since Invincinator did a move.

This update is a lot earlier in the day than usual, because I’m headed to PWA’s Summer Heat show tonight. It’s probably weird that theĀ  match I’m most excited to see is the opener.

On Wednesday: First, go buy HEAT digitally. Then come back on Wednesday. Who can get it together and grab the advantage first? The answer is you, if you buy HEAT at DriveThru Comics.
