I enjoyed drawing this page quite a bit. I think it was because I was finally getting to draw crummy, patched together training ring that I’d been picturing in my head for about a week prior to this page. I’m sure part of it had to do with the knowledge that I would get to start drawing wrasslin’ on the next few pages.
Mad Doc Crockett ended up looking less frail than I had imagined, but that actually ended up facilitating an idea I had for him in the long run, so I didn’t bother redrawing him.
And for those who may be wondering when we’ll be getting around to the first match, fear not! Doc and Dick begin a training match tomorrow, and Dick’s first official match for Prison Pro Wrestling should start next week!
