And with that, the first year of HEAT comes to an end. Hopefully you guys have enjoyed reading as much as I’ve enjoyed writing and drawing it. The Christmas special is coming up on Saturday, then I’ll be taking a few weeks off from posting comics over the Christmas/New Years season. HEAT will be back in action on January 5th, by my current reckoning.

I actually forgot what this page looked like until just now. I think the third panel is still my favourite, mostly because I wrote both of the headlines on the spot and the sub-headline is one of my favourite jokes in the comic in a while. I also made a really boneheaded mistake that I just noticed. I’ll have to fix that at some point.
