HEAT #91 – Rage and Questionable Medical Opinions

This is one case where I think the online version looks better than the paper one. There’s also an almost explicit reference to Classic Wrestling Moment #6. I don’t think I’ve directly referenced a CWM since way back in Chapter 2. Is that the kind of thing that’s only interesting to me? Probably.
I started working on the HEAT Christmas Special last night, which I’m having fun with so far. Turns out I can draw a pretty bitchin’ Ted DiBiase (senior) with proper reference.
Also, I quit slacking and drew a new cartoon for Pro Wrestling Ponderings, featuring Jeff Hardy and Samoa Joe.
On Saturday: The security guards get grabby, and somebody gets better acquainted with a bench.
What is that in the fourth panel?
The white bit is Dusty’s boot, the black parts are his goons’ feet sliding in front of him for protection. Action manga uses the “sliding foot to signify stuff happening” a lot and I figured I’d give it a try.
